Something's not right. I don't know what is wrong, but I know my body and I know that something's not right. What kind of blood tests should I get done?

You can't just march into your doctor's office and demand tests. Many insurance companies need a probable diagnosis in order to approve and pay for a test (most of which are VERY expensive).

Therefore, you need to be able to very articulately describe in great detail to your doctor what's "not right" and he or she will THEN order the appropriate tests. If those come back negative, then you move on to the next phase of testing, depending on your symptoms.

your complaint is way too vague, and if you say that to a doctor, he will laugh at you. You need to be very specific about what makes you think "something is wrong" in order for the doctor to know what tests to order and what tests would just be a waste of time.

That's up to your doctor, not you. That's why doctors make the big bucks, you know.
