well ibm lenovo thinkpads are the best pc laptops, however the best laptop overall is an apple macbook pro.

Well, honestly, they are all rip offs. All computer companies like that will over charge you for parts and labor and on the entire rig in general. Also, they use mediocre parts unless you splurge and buy one of their really high end models. But if you insist on buying a pre built computer and wont build your own, go with HP. Best parts, least rip off of the bunch.
