My husband is gone 10-11 hours and when he walks in the door I usually yell, "BEBEEE!!!", my high pitch version of "baby". Then I'll ask him how his day was and walk into the bedroom with him when he changes and listen to him talk about work. So put yourself in my husband's postion and that's how I'd greet you.
