The sky's not blue. Your just seeing through all those layers of...air or whatever it's called. And with the sun shining...Here's a question you should ask. Why in the sky so many different colors when the sun in setting?

The suns rays go through the atmosphere and it makes them look blue.

ok well bare with me.... it has something to do with the thickness of our atmosphere and the sunlite refracting off of particals in the air. thats not the complete answer but it works for me i used to remember the whole answer but it's been like forever lol

simple,the ocean is blue so what you see is the reflection of the ocean (water).
