There should only be civil partnerships for everyone. Get God out of the picture completely, it has nothing to do with him anymore.
Also, we need to make sanctimonious idiots such as the 'against nature / against God' brigade to sit an exam about human rights and equality before they're allowed to communicate with anyone other than themselves.

The should have the same rights as everyone else, we aren't the ones to pass judgment on anyone, and I know several gay couples who have been together longer than most straight couples.

Love is not about gender, love is about love. No one turns gay, they are BORN gay. They don't get to choose who to love, although if they could, I'm sure many of them would choose to be straight just because of all the discrimination gay people get. Gay people get harassed every day, & for what? Loving someone of the same sex? I'm sorry but that's fucked up.

live and let live. why should i be against something that doesn't hurt anybody or affect anyone outside of the two people getting married. who's to say something is wrong just because it's not what they themselves are used to. i think twinsontheway said it really well.

Go for whatever suits, ignore anyone else. If the question refers to you, just do whatever you are happy with.
Lifes too short to deal with all the nutters and do-gooders, dis-approvers whatever!
Do what feels right and live life to the full. Be Happy!!
Some narrow minded folks on here tonight? Eh!

I am a heterosexual and I am ALL for gay unions and marriage. Gay folk have every right to be as miserable as the rest of us. (ha! ha!) Seriously, I really am for it. What they do in their homes and bedrooms AND lives for that matter is NOT MY BUSINESS. They have every right to be here as we all do and they have the right to engage and enjoy ALL the benefits that unmarried and married couples have. AMEN!

If gays got married, they could pay taxes, contribute to the economy, errr, what else, more good stuff. More things to support society. Let the gays get married. then they will be gayer, as in happy.

each to their own. if i fall in love with a woman tomorrow, why shouldnt i be able to make that commitment just the same as if i fell in love with a man. no one can help who they fall for. and no one should be refused making that commitment, be it for love, security or legal reasons.

We should all have the same rights. Although truth be told I am not so sure i believe in marriage for anyone...but if some can, all should be able to.
