Does my laptop have the right stuff to run videogames and video right cause right now it is all very slow?

No. Processor is alright and HDD space doesnt matter too much. But the problems lie in the RAm (need > 1 gb), the graphics card dedicate memory is pitifully low, no offense. Most video cards used for light gaming have at least 128mb dedicated memory, but you have 64 shared mb. Upgrade your videocard to minimum 256 mb dedicated video memory and your system ram to at least 1 gb preferably 2

you dont have very much ram , should be around 1gb

your video is only 4x , needs to be much faster for good streaming video
your video memory is shared and that is a problem because other programs may take some of the memory while your trying to run a game or a video

Add Privacy to your Media Player (XP)
To stop the player from sending out a unique identifier when you request streaming media open the Media Player and select "Tools." Select "Options..." Select "Privacy" if available. Uncheck "Allow Internet site to uniquely identify your Player."

Adjust Audio Quality in Windows Media Player. (WIN XP)
Open Media Player and click on "Tools" then "Options".
Move the slider control for either more CD space or for the best stereo quality.
