WELL... THAT IS A VERY GOOD QUESTION. FIRST YOU MUST KNOW HOW OLD IS YOUR COMPUTER. THAT WILL HELP DETERMINE IF YOU HAVE A PCI SLOT OR A PCIe WHICH IS PCI EXPRESS. EITHER WAY I WOULD GO WITH NVIDIA. THEY MAKE THE BEST CARDS ON THE MARKET. FIRST SEARCH THEIR SITE AND NEWEGG.COM, AFTER YOU FIND WHAT YOU WANT, TRY A LITTLE KNOWN SITE CALLED COMPUVEST.COM FOR A GOOD PRICE, I BOUGHT A CARD THERE FOR $39.00 AND THE REGULAR PRICE WAS $50 - $60 ON EVERY OTHER SITE. MY PC IS A LITTLE OLDER SO I NEEDED A PCI CARD AND DIDN'T HAVE A LOT TO SPEND, SO I BOUGHT A NVIDIA GE FORCE 5200 WITH
256MB OF MEMORY, IT IS A GREAT MAINSTREAM CARD.ALTHOUGH I RARELY PLAY GAMES ON IT(that's what the ps3 is for) BUT I LOVE IT. AND I WOULD NEVER USE ANYTHING BUT NVIDIA.
