There is a subculture of vampires and they are divided into two types:
1.) Sanguinary (blood drinking) vampires who draw energy from consuming the blood of willing donors.
2.) Psychic vampires who draw energy from the life force of others ... usually from willing donors, but there are people who drain the life force of others without consciously realizing it.

There are many people out there that will never believe that vampire really exist... When in truth they do exist and all the non-believer's out there will never change that fact... Also try not to get any romantic notions about a vampire for the are very vicious creature and they are not trying to create a mate for themselves...... And people can just jump up and down and scream until they are blue in the face but all vampires are animated by demons(fallen angels)... There are many things that I don't know and there are things that I do know as sure as the sun rises and sets I know that vampires exist and there are special groups of vampires and werewolf's hunters out there is many different countries and all they do is hunt these creatures down and kill them of be killed by those creatures.... And facts are by far much stranger then fiction in this case....... Also there are many people found in this country that have been killed and eaten and the population have been told that this happen because of animal predation............... But for what ever reason they seem to forget to mention anything about the foot prints and other evidence that was left behind..... Then in the next few day you read in the news paper that some wild animal had been killed that had escape from a zoo or some circus.............. I wonder how many of you read news paper articles just like I stated........................................................................

The most famous vampire, Dracula, was made up by Bram Stoker, based on Transylvania folklore . So the blood drinking, dying in sunlight, hates crosses type vampire is a work of fiction. The original stories probably came from the misinterpretation of various medical conditions. In the past, it wasn't unheard of to bury someone who was near death and then they would wake up, if they wear lucky, they could climb out, then get staked by the local villagers who were sure they were the undead.
Incidentally, Vlad the Impaler is a national hero in the area of Transylvania, he fought of the Turkish invaders.
There are also other "vampire" and "undead" legends around the world, Chinese vampires, for example, hop and suck the life out of you.

Not the vampires with long pointy teeth from those old black-and-white movies. Some humans have an obsession with drinking blood, and they consider themselves "vampires." Sometimes, though not always, the act is associated with crimes like murder. A subculture has developed around the whole vampire concept.
And some bats, of course, feed on blood. But that's just one species of bats, and they're very small. Most bats feed on fruit.

Try this website www.FVZA.org, It contains info on an organization r that alledgedlly hunted vampires. But yes vampires do exist but not the blood sucker kind, now a new breed of vampire. People that somehow feed on your "spirit" energy. Most vampires live in Americas Big City underground and attend night clubs, and raves. But this is just a fetish and should not be taken seriously, these "vampires" are harmless.

They are. And I could think of couple of different ways to become one, although the chances are very rare. There are two different kinds of vampires, ones that drink blood, and ones that absorbs the energy of people or things around them. The common ones now days are those that draws energy. But, Dracula is not the oldest or most powerful, or even a vampire! Most vampires are not afraid of garlic or sunlight, or crosses or whatever things most of the myths say. Email me if you have any questions or concerns!!!

In reality, there are some cases where people have "claimed" to have been bitten by them, and some are just people talking crazy, but yes, there are such creatures as vampires, try going to El Salvador, and ask people in a place called "El Portio", they would tell you stories of old fairy tales that most believe not true, and there you will find the answer. I remember my mother telling me those tales.

Your question is sort-of vague. Vampire bats are real. Human undead are not. So based on the bats I'd have to answer yes.
