Yes. They usually don't tell you right then and there that you got it.

For the most part, not many prospective employers tell you right away that you're hired because they have multiple applicants to interview.
Ryan's Mom is soooo right.
Working in ANY fast food restaurant is not easy AT ALL!
That reason is one of the reasons that I don't watch or care for Carlos Mencia.
One of, if not THEE FIRST SHOW that he did on Comedy Central, he dissed those in Ryan's Mom's age range, (I'm presuinmg she's not a teen) for working in places like McDonalds, Burger King, etc by saying something like their intelligence level is very low to be that age and working a job like that,
And then he did that "de de deee" thing and the audience laughed.
I can only surmise that his audience is the same type that listen to people like Imus and Limbaugh, et al and think that racism and bigotry of any kind is 'funny'.
Hang in there. Be patient and say your prayers.
Also, don't hesitate to apply to other businesses for employment as you wait on a response from this prospective employer.

Fast food places normally hire several people at once because most of the new hires can't handle the job and quit right away, so I would expect to be hired, but also expect to work hard. Fast food is not as easy as some people think it is. The ones that think it is an easy job have never actually worked fast food.

fast food usually hire more than one person at a time and maybe they are waiting to see if they can find anyone better for the job
