What school supplies should i get?

I'm going into 8th grade, im taking algebra, spanish, english, science, social studies, and Gym. I dont know what my parents should buy me for shcool tonight when they go shopping.

You'll want pencils, pens, a highlightor or two, a scientific calculator (such as Texas Instruments), a Spanish translator or dictionary, clothes for gym if you don't need to buy them from the school, an assignment book or notebook to write homework in, and either two 5 subject notebooks with folders or a 3 ring binder with a folder for every class and loose leaf paper. Well you know you definitely need your note books, pens and pencil, you will also need a scientific calculator, a Spanish dictionary to help you with your Spanish in the same way you use your English dictionary, and for the gym you need your sneakers, socks, and your gears most times the schools have gears with the name of the school and motto on it and give specific colors that you need to wear, if the school do not specify, just get a tea-shirt and a shorts. and that should cover it, good luck in your new grade and in your subjects.

More than likely all of your teachers will give you a list; but if you want to go into the first day of school semi-prepared then just the essentials. special things like calculators and other items that your not sure about, dont get. your teachers wont expect you to know exactly what they want you to have before meeting them. good luck.

start out with pencil and paper. your teachers will tell you what else to get. don't go buying a lot of stuff til you're sure of what you need. they should give you a couple of days to get it all.
