good question. i think fashion may have influenced art as much as art has influenced design. some of the influence of fine art is very apparent, there are goths who fully endorse the victorian goth style, which is apparent not only in painting, but in architechture and stuff. plus theres always shirts out there with pictures of famous paintings on them, especially pop culture type stuff...ive seen a bunch of shirts and purses and things lately with andy warhol prints on them....i know theres way more im missing but id have to do some really hard core research to put it all down somewhere.
