To me being memorable is leaving a lasting impression. Something done that was not the ordinary or expected. The events of 9/11 are memorable, not necessarily in a good way, but that touched many lives in how it affected all involved. It's not something one soon forgets. Someone memorable is a person that stands out in some way that another feels touched their life/heart in how they are.

It's got to be something that enters my soul so strongly that it takes me over, in a sense--not out of my control, but filling me with a sense of the profound--like the first time I saw the Aurora Boealis--I was expecting a Disneyland experience--instead it was awe--stop you in your tracks awe. Or the time I learned about the vilage of Eyam and it's experience with the Plague in the 1500's. It gripped my imagination, and gave me a feeling of the capacity of man to lay down his life for his friend. It was humbling.

Of people, it is those who have been kind to me with patience and understanding and have sought to teach me, mentor me, and accept me, warts and all, who are most memorable to me.

Well you often hear people saying such and such had a huge heart.i think one thing that makes people memorable is their love for life and the people close to them that they would put anyone else before them.charisma is another.i think mostly tho a persons love for life and sharing it with as many people as possible makes them memorable

what makes a certain something memorable is who you spent that something with and timing is usually key...
what makes someone memorable is what they did (obviously)
who they are, the impression left by him/her......and again timing (when you met them)

Like trying to predict the weather trying to predict what will be remembered. There are some trends to be sure but you never can tell what will and will not sink in. upside down is to sucking is to blue is to…. correlations that map out our world. Which is not your world it is ours. Guess we’ll have to share it with them. Remembers ideas so much better then dates names or numbers.
