people who believe in Jesus. A lot of people aren't christians but claim to be. Also, we are people that have issues just like everyone else.

First, it is wrong to make such generalizations, as there are people of all religions and even who don't adhere to a religion who lie, slander, persecute, and think they are morally superior, its human nature. The only reason Christians are brought to the front of such attacks is because they are 1/3rd of the population of the world and are dominant in our society. Yes Christianity has been responsible for a lot of humanly wrong doings, but also for a lot of humanly good doings, same with all other religions.

Secondly, according to the Bible all of the above makes that person a fool and a poor human being, and most religions will agree, but passing judgment on them is not your responsibility, only judging how you should understand and get along with them, or if you even can.

I myself am Christian...but I do understand your disbelief. For many..and sadly...people accept Christ as their savior..but do not follow his teachings!!! This I hate...for yes you're right ...it's hypocritical. I myself try very hard to live a moral life. But let me leave you with this...in all sincerity. OK? Please listen. I am 17 years old...and am a born again Christan. Just a little over two years ago..my life was miserable...depressing, I was wild...drank and had immoral sex. I even got to a point where I thought about suicide. I felt there was no point in existence if we were just organisms with no God. Then ...one day we had this new girl in class...and blah blah...she became a good friend and taught me about Christianity. And I started reading the Bible for myself and praying. And it was weird...I started to feel amazing ..and better everyday. Well all in all...I fell God and Christ in me...they are real..more real than you know. And now my life has meaning. I live for him now...not myself. And I have NEVER been happier. God is there, and when you truly act what he says to do...then wow...you'll experience life in a whole new way. I'm a totally different person. So don't look at Christians...look at Christ...for HE IS WHAT MATTERS. :)...Good Luck :)

I am a Christian. . . but I am still a sinner. It seems that you've had run-ins with bad examples of Christians. We are all unperfect but Christians are suppose to love. I can honestly say that Christians can be the meanest people and I'm not sure why that it is. All Christians still sin because they are human but not all of them act superior, perfect, foolish or act as hypocrites.

The question should be at what point in your life were you hurt by someone representing him/herself to be of the Christian face that made you ask such generalized and offending questions?

Come back in a few years when you have matured
