I think it arises from using nail polish that is too thick. When you put the polish on, air gets trapped under the polish and cannot escape. You cannot see it at first because polish is wet, but as it dries and settles the bubbles appear.

To prevent this try the following:

If polish is a bit thick, don't shake bottle to mix, rather you should roll bottle around to prevent air bubbles. You can also smack bottom of bottle to loosen trapped air.

Store your polish in the fridge to prevent thickening.

Make sure first coat is 100% dry before putting second coat.

Make sure you are applying enough polish. If your brush drags on your nail instead of gliding smoothly this can cause air to be trapped under polish.

Hope this helps!

I know the exact answer- it's air bubbles! They are so annoying! You have to apply a thin layer and make absolutely sure that layer is completely dry before adding another layer. I thought I was being so careful, but they'd still show up. I figured out that I wasn't allowing enough time for my clear base coat to dry before adding the color polish. Nails take forever! I still end up sometimes with creases from bedsheets because I waited til too late to do mine!

It's the way you are handling the polish. You need to make sure you remove all of the oil from your hands and nails before you paint them too. the oil will make the polish bubble up. Clean the area really good with nail polish remover before you apply the colour.

Don't shake the bottle and also are you blowing on your nails to get them to dry faster or putting them under a little fan? This is cause air bubbles also.

I wouldn't leave the light on all day. Just for about 6 hours. I am a pet sitter and I pet sit 2 turtles. The shell part is a normal thing that happens to all turtles. But for the appetite part, I would get a veterinarian. I hope your little angel gets better!

I know what you mean!!!! This happens to me too, I was told that you are not suppose to shake the bottles at all, so before you put it on your not supposed to shake it, you should roll it back and forth instead and that keeps those bubbles out.

You are either shaking the bottle too much or if your polish is a little thick, you are not waiting long enough in between coats.

after you shake up your nail polish, let it sit for 5 minutes before you put it on. That let's the microscopic air bubbles go away.

It doesnt happen to me... only like twice before. If it really bothers you that much, you could get them proffesionally done. Also, it could depend on the brand you use. Try a more expensive kind. Both of those pieces of advice require money... so if you arnt looking to spend that much, then try reasearching it on google.

Its probably that you're moving around the polish too much or the nail polish might be to "gel-ly"
