I am an at home mom looking to make more money from home. I need a reliable source of income.
Please do NOT respond with links to survey, trial offer, or paid email websites, I do those already for side income and do not need anymore.
I am looking for a legit company looking to hire someone with good typing and computer skills to work at home.
I will not invest money to begin working for a company, I don't feel that's how a legit business should operate. I feel I should be the one getting paid for my time and work to a company, not the other way around.

If anyone works for a company or has any suggestions for companies hiring, please respond asap!

P.S.- just to clarify before anyone posts about it lol, yes I've tried monster and yahoo jobs with no luck. Most are scam sites wanting a lot of money upfront.

Thanks to all who respond!!!! :)

Work from home data entry jobs don't really exist, except in situations where you've been an on-site employee of the employer for a period of time and they decide to allow you to telecommute. You see, most data entry jobs are somewhat sensitive ... either financial or legal information, and companies aren't willing to hire someone they don't know to do these.

You're likely to get "offers" from your post ... be very careful of these ... most will be scams.

There's sort of a related opportunity, however. If you have an accounting background, you can sometimes find local companies what will allow you to do their basic financials from home ... A/R, A/P, etc.

If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.

Good luck!

Here are my suggestions on finding a legitimate opportunity that's right for YOU:

- Set your financial goals -- Are you just looking for extra income or a potential full-time income? How long (and hard) are you willing to work to meet your goal?

- Determine if you are looking for a JOB or a BUSINESS -- there is a distinct difference between the two and you want to focus your energies appropriately for the best results.

- If looking for a JOB, what are your marketable skills and previous experiences? If you are looking for a BUSINESS, go with your passions, things that interest and motivate you the most. Build a list and use that to begin your search. General rule of thumb: Never pay for a job (businesses, on the other hand, usually involve some expenses).

- Review your budget -- know ahead of time what you are willing and able to invest into your business, including start-up costs and ongoing maintenance and promotion.

- Find a rep to contact, check out their websites, ask questions, do your own independent research.

- I personally also check out a company's status and consumer feedback on www.bbb.org and www.ripoffreport.com

Hope this info helps get you started. Best wishes!
