No, it doesn't help shutting it off. It's still plugged in to the power supply and would still get a surge unless you have a surge protector.

No. But I do listen to the police scanner. Once, I heard the fire department getting called out to a residence where a man got struck by lightning through his computer in his mouth.

Yes, even though I have it on a power bar. I also close the bathroom door so my 125 lb Shepard doesn't go hide in the bath tub....siiiiiiiiigh...

I do and run outside hoping to get struck its such a great feeling....but mere mortals shouldnt try it only us zombies and vampires can survive this
