Thanks for the feedback. I would use Oracle in bank reconciliations and other accounts receivable functions. My agency told me that it was slowly taking the place of QuickBooks as far as client's requests were concerned because some companies are using Oracle with MS Excel.

Depends what aspect you're learning, and what you do.

"Learning Oracle" can mean a variety of things depending on the context.

Oracle is a very common database used in a number of firms. Learning it will hardly ever be a bad idea. But you need to figure out which aspects you need to learn.

In today's business from what I have seen would become a power user in SAP. Market is short of experienced people and demand is high as man business's are switching to it.
