i'm 37 weeks pregnant with a girl and want some name suggestions.. i thought about Athena, but my husband wants Theya.. (the "h" is siilent)... which i don't even think that's a name.. so i'm trying to find another name that he might like and hopefully would change his mind.... and this is our first kid so i want both of us to agree with the name...

I really like Athena, Theya is okay, but likely to be mispronounced. Alina, Althea, Alicia, Alisha are all in the same vein as Athena....... which is a greek name.

Theya (silent "h") IS a name...my niece has that name with a different spelling...Tayia. Some of my favorites for a girl are: Brianna Rose, Jasmine Marie, Kimberly Rose, Misty Dawn, Mariah Dawn. Maybe you and your husband could compromise and call your little girl Athena Theya

How about Taryn? I think that's really pretty. Sort of like Theya, but I'm certain it's a real name. Well, anything you want can be a name.

Theya with a silent "h" is Teya I don't think anyone will pronounce it right if you spell it with a the "h"

If you and your husband are having trouble picking a name you should find a way to combine your names together to find a name. or example if your name is Ruth and your husband name is Jackson if you have a boy you can name your child Junior. Get is (J and R JR) or you can combine the name that both of you guys like.

I like Athena! Athena was a Greek princess (in Greek mythology, lol) but still, she was a princess! I like Theya, but if the h is silent, why not just name her Tia! Mia is nice too.
