Yes. And I am wondering, is it easier for people if a parent says "One year and 9 months.."? I have a 15 month old.

Once my kids are beyond 18 months, I just say "almost 2" or "she'll be two in October."
With pediatricians, most of the time they count a babies age in months up until the age of three years. I think it's because of immunization schedules and developmental milestones.

yes! It's so annoying how parents talk about kid ages like that. Once they are over a year, just say that! I hate it when people say, my kid is 26 months old or what ever. Just say a little over two or something!
