Are there people in their Eighties, Nineties and above that regularly use the internet and navigate around with ease?
I think it's pretty cool for someone to be using such a young technology with ease that is far older than the technology itself!
What is the oldest person that you PERSONALLY know of that uses the internet?
As for me, I am personally aware of Eighty-somethings on the net.

85 year-old miniaturist that I met at a show. When I asked about finding some patterns, she piped right up: "Honey, just GOOGLE it!" We both laughed.

You sure have the wrong idea about older people. Just because they reach a certain age doesn't mean they go into their closet and close the door.
It is not age that counts, but state of mind. You'll find out. Hell, most the have been dealing with new technology more years than you have been alive.

My Grandfather started using it in the late 80's and he just turned 77 and know more about the net than probably 95% of the people that do use it

I know several ladies who are in their 80s, but the oldest is 93. They are all quilters on the quilting forum. Vision is usually the limiting factor for many. It's really hard to adjust text size on many web pages and can become frustrating.

My grandpa sits in front of his computer all day long... playing games, chatting with his friends (his old man stamp collecting friends)...
He is turning 79 next month... And is the oldest dude I know that surfs the net

My Grandma, she turned 89 on the 15th of this month. But she is pretty cool all together. She wanted a pool cue for her birthday. Love you grams.

My boyfriends dad is 64 and he uses the internet. I think the part they have the worst trouble with is typing fast.
