Yes, if the reason they are uncomfortable is for reasons you have no control over. However, if it is because of the way you look/act that is purposely bizarre, distasteful or threatening just to get attention, then it is your problem, and in some cases, becomes everybody's problem.

Depends, really. Is it more than one person that's uncomfortable around you? If it's, for instance, some of your co-workers that are uncomfortable then maybe you should consider why or what makes them feel that way. If it's just one person, then why not make it a point to not be around them much. Unless, of course, they're unavoidable - like your boss or spouse.
But, generally - I figure if someone doesn't like me, they'll have little or nothing to do with me. So, problem solved.

It's funny, people who usually say that are often harder to get along with, quite combative, & rigid in their thinking patterns. If you act as though you are interested in someone & try to tailor your conversation to things of broad interest, 99% of the time people are comfortable around you. So no I don't agree with the above statement.

to a certain degree. i mean, i try to be nice and easy to get along with. from personal experience, the people that i'm close with now are the ones that i didn't like/that didn't like me in the beginning. but as you learn to accommodate the other person and to be understanding and considerate, that's how you form a relationship to last.
but if i try to be considerate/polite and they still are uncomfortable/don't like me.... then it is just THEIR problem. i've moved on.

not necessarily! Depends on how many people feel that way.? One person then it's their problem. A handful of people then you may be inconsiderate and/or ignoring.

I think they have a problem with you, but you could ask them about it and try to change that about you, if it makes you better.
