I was pregnant when my best friend got married, and she arranged for me to get a fancy drink for the toast at the rehearsal dinner.
Take a martini glass, and dip the rim in colored sugar, like you would for a salted margarita glass rim. Use one part cranberry juice cocktail and one part Sprite. Garnish with an orange slice or some other common fruity or fun drink garnish.
Hawaiian Sunrise
8 ounces chilled orange juice
3/4 ounce grenadine syrup
Cracked or shaved ice (optional)
To orange juice in glass, add the grenadine.
Let it settle on the bottom or stir, as desired.
Add ice (optional) if desired. Garnish with orange and cherries.
Makes one serving.

This has the added benefit of being pink-ish in color, so you can give it a baby girl name if that is what the mommy-to-be is expecting
4 oz. Passion Fruit Juice
Dash of Cranberry Juice
Dash of Lemon Juice
Club Soda
Mix in a highball glass filled with ice and top up with Club Soda. Stir well and garnish with a cherry and a long straw

Ignore the haters. A friend and I had a shower for another friend, and we included a drinking game. We were all in our late 20's and just finishing up our Ph.D.s. As it was a mixed crowd, we thought the men would enjoy a bottle beer chug. And they did! It was a lot of fun. You just fill the bottles, and the one to drink it the fastest wins. Also, you can make drinking a consequence of losing a game. The saying "baby" game is popular, and usually done with clothespins, but you can make everyone take a shot of beer or wine instead (not liquor, as all the guests would be smashed in no time!). You can pin the name of some baby item on everyone's back, and the last to guess theirs has to have a drink. That kind of thing. Have fun! Not all baby showers have to be like afternoon tea. If this is the kind of thing your guests would prefer...go for it! They are bringing gifts, so they should get a good time out of it!

Anything you serve in a martini glass will be classy. Cranberry juice with a twist of lime and a touch of seltzer could be a "mockapolotain" You can make virgin strawberry daquaris or pina coladas for a frozen tropical drink. It's even easier if you buy the premade canned mixes. A good website for drink ideas is www.webtender.com tons of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.

Id just get the fun italian sodas from Target. They come in pretty bottles anyway.
Martha Stewart BluePrint Magazine, has kind of a trendier baby shower in this months issue with bottles like that. Although I dont care for the magazine, that had some good ideas.

Smoothies! Get a couple of blenders... use fruit juice, some defrosted frozen rasperries or strawberries, ice cubes... all natural and refreshing... make sure you get some umbrellas and 1/2 orange slices and maraschino cherries (perhaps a fresh mint leaf) to pretty them up... hope you have a blast!!!

Cute idea!
Red or pinkish coolade for "martinis"
Wine goblets with grape juice
Make some smoothies and put them in bigger glasses
For the added touch, you can buy the little stir sticks and/or umbrellas
