what kind of bird do you want to be and why?

I'd want to be a humming bird. Getting to slurp up red water sugar mixture in feeders. Getting to visit beautiful flowers every day. And travel. I'd be able to go up, down, forward or backwards. The best thing is I'd be tiny, so I'd have to eat a lot. They flap their wings so fast that they need a lot of energy. It would mean no more diet and a great body. Can I start tomorrow?

I'm not sure. Flamingoes are beautiful and seem to lead exciting lives. Owls get to sit around at night and i love their voices. I sort of envy all birds, their lives always seem very peaceful. I don't know, but I'd love to be a bird.

mockingbird
they have SO much fun
we have a local mockingbird who does an awesome 4-tone car alarm, you know, beep, beep beep beep, whoop, whoop whoop, whoop, eeeeyow. eeeeeyow, eeeeyow, eeyow, buzz buzz buzz buzz. It is hilarious. that bird has GOT to be having fun
a study at Harvard a couple of years ago revealed that parrots are capable of deductive reasoning...so that'd be another choice.
