NICE QUESTION...In the U.K. they take your old ones, refill them and you get to pay full price. They call that re-cycling.

Perhaps you need to go to a different place. Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples all give discount of about $3 or more per cartridge you turn in.

What you need to do is to find a shop that will just fill up your cartridges this is dramatically cheaper as you only pay for the ink
