It's different for every guy, trust me. Check out simmilar older questions in the search for questions field. For example, for one type of guy, having glasses is a major turn off and others it's a major turn ON. They key here is, would YOU want to date the guy who is attracted to intelligent girls or who doesn't care for them? If you are intelligent and want to dumb yourself down, it won't work (for serious things, anyway) because guys will catch on on and then you will turn out to be a major turn off for most guys across the board, being something you are not just to get a boyfriend. You look desperate, and guys do NOT want desperate. Find out what type of guy YOU like and then find out what THEY want (in general terms, they all will vary). Then ask this same question again and specify "Guys who like football, what type of girl do you like?"
Generally
ON- A girl who has the traits he likes in a girl. Different for every guy. Some like girls who are people person, some like girls who are a little more reserved. Ect. ect. It's also different for girls a guy wants something serious with and someone they just want to date a few weeks or months. Most guys would prefer a girl who isn't too high maintainece and who would be cool to just hang out in house cloths. Someone who laughs and isn't easily offended by 'guy humor', someone who stands up for what they want and doesn't let the world walk over them,
OFF (most guys HATE these things)
Being too picky about things, a girl who is WAY to immersed in her looks, a girl who is WAY too into herself, too much drama, girls who TALK ALL THE TIME and don't get the fact that guys actually most of the time like to talk less than girls (and about different subjects. Don't talk to guys about girl things and don't gossip. Guys like to talk about sports, work, politics, and the outside world more then girls , who usually talk about other people and how they feel. Another thing, guys don't like overly emotional girls- ones who seem like the littlist thing can make them cry, girls who get mad at the littlest things, girls who are TOO mushy (want to celebrate a one WEEK aniversary and who calls them at work all the time), ohhh girls who want to call and hang out everyday (1-3 days a week is fine), girls who won't let a guy have his own life or hang out with his friends, another biggie is a girl who doesn't like a guy's friends- those are his chosen family and if you don't like them then it's like you are rejecting a part of him, girls who can't take a hint, girls who don't observe proper manners and courtesy in appropriate social situations (remember, a guy wants a woman who can be a lady at dinner and a wh*re in the bedroom)
