I just find it interesting how many people are using this global warming controversy to provide them with a convenient excuse to NOT participate in environmentally sound living/actions/activities.
There are hundreds of things we can do that are just plain responsible and in the interests of a cleaner, healthier planet; one which we're passing on to our children and grandchildren.

No more then the push in 70's for the clean water act....when was the last time you heard someone complain that those damn rivers just dont have enough crap in em anymore?

Your question is flawed. Anthropogenic global warming is not a "left" view, it's a scientific conclusion.

No, it is a good example of how an army of scientists can examine facts and data and come to an inescapable conclusion, which, sadly, people who prefer to believe things without any factual basis find easy to dismiss.
