Is that too old?

Absolutely not! My husband just turned 40 and we just had our FIRST child! People in their 30s are perfect parents because we're established and mature, and can provide our children with the things they really need. As long as you're young at heart and generally healthy, I say GO FOR IT!

No. Many women wait until the late 30's to even start a family. I don't think 36 is too old for a third child or a first child.

No, that is not weird, nor is it too old. People are having children up into their 40s now, and many aren't even starting families until their early 30s, so I see nothing at all wrong with having a child at 36.

I don't think it's wierd. I love kids, and I'm not sure if I'll ever feel like I had enough. I will always want another one...of course I'll have to stop eventually though. But when I do, it will be for other reasons, not because of my age. If you've gotten the ok from your doctor, and you can handle it financially and otherwise, then I say GO FOR IT! If you're still not sure, look at all the celebrities having/adopting kids, and look at their ages. Especially the fathers! Not a big deal.

While it is considered "high-risk" for anyone over 35 to bear children (the chances of down's syndrome is higher after 35), I say NO! It is not too old or weird to want to continue having children at 36 :)

No and no. There will be higher risks of stuff like Downs Syndrome having a baby at that age (though it's not much higher), and you will most likely be considered a high risk pregnancy, but it's not weird or too old. Madonna was around 36 when her first kid was born!

I personally dont think it's too old, my mom was 35 when she had me. The only thing is as her daughter; I wish that she was younger so we could do more together or she had more energy to spend time with my son. On the other hand I don't think that i'd have a baby at 35 but i don't think thre is anything wrong with it. MOre people that othrs will prolly say its getting up there lol!!

No, it's not weird at all! In this day and age women have their first baby at 40! So a third child at age 36? You're a spring chicken! :)

Did you read recently that a 60 year old woman had a newborn child? You are perfectly within the age to still want and still deliver. Go for it !!! God Bless You. It is not weird for you to want another baby, lucky baby to have that much love waiting for him/her. Good Luck !!!!!
