You have got to make it unique and interesting so that it attracts a lot of people.
Keep adding and changing and try and get links from other sites.
You can submit it to Google and Yahoo but I found that that makes little difference to the time it takes.
If you have a website, start a blog as a subdomain and always use your URL in your signature.
Post here, on forums, article submission sites or press releases.
You've got to get noticed.

It's pretty difficult to get it up and on there immediately. One way that usually work is by adding your site to the webcrawler list here:
http://www.google.com/addurl/

as soon as you put it on the web it depends on how many hits/or closest matching (wat u type in). In other words it will be on their somewhere.
