Can anyone doubt this after they thrashed Argentina 3-0 in the final of the Americas Cup on Sunday?

Noone can!! they won the game without their best players &with a young unexperienced tem like V Love,Fernando,Josue,Mineiro,....

Guys you can brag all you want about Brazil. Don't get me wrong, I respect them. They always have some of the greatest players of the world. But they don't always assemble the best team.I really think being lucky is one of their strength (none of their fan will admit that). I strongly think they were lucky in the 2002 WC especially against Germany. I don't even know why Germany showed up for that finale. It was the most disappointing Finale I have ever watched.
As for this last Copa America, this is a proof that Argentina on the other hand is the unluckiest team with that much talent (since 1994). One can put Spain in that same category.
People who really know Football and who are impartial will certainly agree with me. The best Soccer talents in the whole world are either from Brazil and Argentina. The difference is Brazil is the lucky one and Argentina is not.
How does one explain (with good reasoning) what happened in that Copa America finale?

Yes Brazil is the best team. They have been for consistent for the past 50 years and even though they only made it to the quarter finals in this World Cup, they still had been in three consecutive finals before that.
Beating Argentina was also a proof of their greatness, even though they were missing some key players and they have a horrible coach that did not even use properly the players he had at hand.

Brasil last won the cup in 2002, and had held it for a few tournaments before that. Brasil has won the world cup more than anyone in the world, and was the reason America had the cup longer than Europe. So yeah, Brasil is the best in the world.

I think they have the best talent all-around. However, it's difficult to put a bunch of all stars on one team such as in the WC. I know I am looking ahead but I think Brasil will leave some of their superstars for the 2010 WC and take some role players as they did in the Copa America.
I know it's a different sport but look at the USA basketball team. Too many stars only one ball. Lost in the World Championships.
If the coach finds the right chemistry, work ethic and defense from players in the 2010 squad they will win and be number one again.
In my opinion for now it's Italy (World Cup, UEFA - AC Milan)...I know they have some INT players on Milan but they won.

Not the BEST in the world since they did not win the last World Cup, but for sure one of the best and one of the top teams in the world.
No doubt though that right now they are better than Argentina. They did beat them without their stars and by a big margin.

Brasil are a great team.. there's no doubting that.. to say that they are the best in today's world.. I don't think that is correct.. don't forget that Brasil tied England and lost 2-0 against Portugal.... They are great.. not the present greatest.

Given their long and rich history, and the results, it's tough to argue against Brazil. And that was a very convincing win over an outstanding team.

Yes, we are. Who cares if Italy won last year? A team changes a lot in a year. Players such as Cafu, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos and Dida have been retired or replaced, with younger/better players. Anyways, you guys are funny, thinking Italy's better than us, and Cameroon and thinking our games are rigged. What a joke. if anything, they're rigged against us.

Most depth goes to Brasil which they showed in the Copa. Motivation was the key to the lost to France and other issues. Dunga's style is ugly but he produced results. Let's see how he motivates the stars.
