I would rather be rich!! I could buy, pretty much anything!! Which, in turn, might actually make me famous from all of the interviews and what nots, on how it feels to be rich!! Plus, if I were rich, I could get famous for all of the money that I would donate to charity!!

Rich. If you are rich and not particularly famous, you can go anywhere and do anything you want.

If you are famous, people are constantly bugging you. To be famous withOUT being rich enough to hide from everybody would be pure torture.

Imagine if someone famous (or infamous) had to eat at your local McBurger place. Pick someone like Michael Jackson. Can you imagine him walking in and ordering a cheeseburger and having everyone be able to come up and touch (i.e. hurt) him? No bodyguards or anything?

Rich, because I could help people. I could help fund research on childhood illnesses. I could send all the folks I care about to college, and others too... I could do some good!

I could move Mom to a wonderful nursing home where she had 5 nurses waiting on her hand & foot, reading to her, peeling her grapes! lol HEY, wait... if I were rich, she could live with me and have everything she ever desired! That would be so awsome.

But fame... it's just an illusion, a lie. So many people love only as long as you are doing something for them... Once you fall from their pedestal, they fall upon you and crush you with their anger and ugliness...

So many forget we are all just human... Fallible. We all have feet of clay! And people can be so cruel. I saw a posting asking if anyone was uglier than a certain celebrity.

I guess such things are funny, when they are not about the one posting! And I suppose folks don't care about the hearts or souls they wound. Even if I do not like someone, what right have I to harm him or her? You see, words can cut deeper than any knife. I've seen the real harm and it can devestate!

Famous.

1. That would mean that I've done something really interesting to become famous.

2. Money doesn't buy happiness. But...

3. Generally if you are famous, then you become RICH. And a few extra dollars never hurt anybody.

I totally agree because if your rich you can buy a lot of thing to keep you entertained and happy whereas if you famous your life is no longer your own but an open book for anyone to read as everyone knows your secrets and personal business, however saying that i no this sounds cliched but the main thing that i would rather have would be love as its whats makes you feel whole, wanted and cared for whether it love from family, friends or partners love makes you feel safe and complete...x

Well, you know, they kind of go together.

Famous people are normally rich.
Rich people are normally famous.

I'd rather be rich though, just so that I could finish my education at any school of my choice (providing I got accepted).

And get a new car! :)

...and set aside money for my nephew's future's.

Rich, because you may be famous for a bad reason

Neither. I want to make a difference in the world, not be rich and famous unless I could use either of those to make a difference, not for the further benefit of me.
