If you don't want to get pregnant, do not have unprotected sex! Use a condom! Get on birth control! Use your head!!
Now that I've said that for the 40th time today, it depends on your body really. If you are pregnant, you may not be producing hCG (the pregnancy hormone) in a high enough quantity to be detected by a home pregnancy test. At four days late, it should be accurate, but every woman is different. Call your doctor and schedule a blood test. It will tell you for sure.

There is no such thing as safe sex (except within the bounds of a one man, one woman for life marriage - on both their parts). There is a possibility that you are pregnant, wait a couple weeks and try the test again. Maybe you will have started your period by then.
Remember if you are pregnant you are already a mother. You can be a good mother, bad mother, birth mother to a precious child for another family, or the mother of a dead baby, in this country the choice is yours (for the most part). What kind of mother are you going to be?
Even if you don't get pregnant, every time you have such close personal contact you put yourself at risk for some nasty diseases. It's like playing Russian Roullette. Each year 1 in 4 teens will contact an STD/STI. By age 25, 1 in 2 sexually active people will contact an STD/STI. STDs/STIs can have drastic consequences, especially if not treated right away including infertility, cancer, etc.

The EPT test can be used the day that your period is late (according to their website). Your period can be late for many reasons...so I would relax because your cycle could just be off this month.

I would definately say no. I say that because I have had these worries before. According to my doctor, it is normal for your menstrual cycle to be late a couple of days. Mines was late for two weeks one time. My doctor said any little thing can really affect our cycles, like stress, life changing events, exercising, etc. If you are worried about it, that could be delaying it too. Like I told the other lady with a similar question, I know it's hard but try to relax and not stress about it and it will be here before you know it.

No need to worry. Some women expect their period to start and stop like clock work not realizing that the body changes EVERY SINGLE SECOND. Starting a period early or late is actually normal, due to weather, hormonal, and lifestyle change. Lack of sleep, stress, exercise, ect. can all play a key factor in your menstrual...IT'S NORMAL.

I would not worry. Most pregnancy tests will not work unless your period is 2-3 weeks late. And your periods fluctuate, it is normal for it to be 4 days late.

Nothing is a sure way against pregnancy and those tests take about 2 weeks to start registering. Give it a little while and if you don't notice any changes in your body call your doc. They put me on birth control to regulate my periods.
It is great that you are using protection!
