i wonder if anybody else is of the same opinion ,i asked a question the other day ?thank,s for the answer ,but this is the pits ,been on technical support phone for the last 90 minutes and as i type still on hold hardly got a broadband connection ,NTL lied to us about the switch over ,it,s about time that we took some action
against the entrapment used by these companies when you try to cancel or switch ,they promise to upgrade your service and after you have been tricked into a new contract ? you then find that it was a bared faced LIE ? still on hold by the way .

Have answered many questions over Virgin Media and got the thumbs down, but its a shame still that such a big brand has got this NTL takeover so wrong, for some reason it just hasn't got the Virgin backing and feeling behind it.

Know exactly how you feel. I signed up to TalkTalk on the 31 March 07,my free Broadband went live on 13 July 07. I too spent as long as 90 minutes on the phone on more than one occasion. Not so bad if you could speak to someone with an English accent. Whilst it appears to be much faster than BT Ive still had a few niggly problems. I was so frustrated and angry I even wrote to Charles Dunstone CEO of Carphone Warehouse he`s not even as much asked me round for a drink

We are on Virgin media and I am writing this over an 8mbps connection. Its bloody excellent really.
It might not be Virgins fault, If you have ADSL down your phoneline and loads of people are on the internet in the houses round your local exchange then it will be slow. Ours isnt because we are quite rural lol. Get cable broadband instead. Guaranteed constatn speed then.
Plus we are NOT in a contract, so we can change any time we want. YAY!!!
