Well Daunte Culpepper is currently in the middle of a case against the Miami Dolphins that is eventually going to grant him his wish in forcing them to make him a free agent. Then he can sign with anybody he wants to, most likely the Jaguars. A lot like McNair's situation last season.
As far as Ricky Williams is concerned, new coach Cam Cameron has already stated that he will not allow Williams to come back to the team even if he is reinstated by the NFL because of the fact that he has let the team down so many times. If the NFL does allow him to return he will most likely sign with another team either right before the season or in the beginning of it.

The reason Miami lost interest in Daunte was because his knee did not heal after the 1st surgery or the 2nd surgery. He is now rehabbing after his 3rd surgery on his knee you cannot build a team or plan a season behind a QB that might not be able to play. AT best if Daunte signs with another team he will have to pass a physical and then probably be a #2 QB for a while to prove himself or let the man at #1 screw up. This happens sometimes to good QB's some people can recover from an injury while others can't.

Culpepper was a mistake for the Dolphins from the start. He was never a good QB to begin with and the knee injury took away his only asset, his mobility. Miami is kidding themselves if they think anyone will trade anything for Culpepper. Dolphins will cut him out right.

Culpepper has an inflated opinion of his own value which he can't back up with stats, I think he wants to be gone from Miami, and they want to oblige him, so long as they can limit the financial damage.
I suspect Atlanta is going to be looking for a QB very soon, and it's not that far to move, that would probably work for everyone.

beau_maclellan.....
Miami released the former Pro Bowl quarterback Tuesday...The move came one day before a breach-of-contract grievance filed by the NFL Players Association on Culpepper's behalf against the Dolphins was scheduled to be heard, and after Miami unsuccessfully tried for weeks to trade the 30-year-old...Dante serves as his own agent....
Once he he got word from his attorneys about the release on Monday night, he was quoted as saying "As I was going through this process I heard about a quote by Gandhi that best expresses my thoughts about this victory: 'First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win'..."
......Don't be surprised if he goes to Atlanta........
