Ctrl +alt+left arrow. that works on most dell machines. and laptops

Ctrl+Alt+ Will orient the display in the direction of the arrow key pressed. So the up arrow puts the display in the normal direction top up, left arrow puts the display on it's side, top of the desktop on the left edge, and so on.
