One shot won't interfere *too* much, but depending on your body, it could be a while, too.

If you want to have a baby, you need to track your fertility and pinpoint your ovulation. Have sex three days before ovulation, the day before, and the day of.

Even when you do everything right, a healthy couple only has about a 30% chance of conceiving every cycle. However, most conceive within a year.

Hope this helps, and best of luck to you!

The depo shot messed my body up badly. I only had 1 shot and after that I bled for 6 months straight. It all depends on you and your body. You should talk it over with your doctor.

Women have gotten pregnant ON the shot, immediately AFTER the shot, and some have had to go to a fertility specialist.

I was on that poison for four years, and I'm hoping I won't have to see a fertility specialist for what that drug did to me.

Since you only had ONE shot, I think chances are good you will soon get pregnant.

Just remember don't TRY to get pregnant. The more you want it the more it won't happen. Don't try, and it will happen. My mom went through that. Wanted to get pregnant and didn't until she stopped trying.

Good luck!

I think it depends on the individual person. I was on the depo shot for about a year and once I got off, it took about 6 months form my menstrual cycle to go back to regular. A cousin of mine was also on it, I am not sure the exact time frame, but she got off and it took her about a year to get pregnant.

You can relax. Dont take anymore shots and it may happen the same months. Alot of women get preg while still on the shot if that gives you an idea of your chances.

It really depends.. there is no way of knowing when for sure.. Its like that with all BC pills.. some women take months to years other woman it only takes one time.

stressing over it isn't going to help you either... just relax think positive and keep trying with your husband until that test says positive.

good luck
