No, scientists predict that the sun will become a supernova before then and therefore wipe out all the close planets to it, ceasing all life on Earth. Space travel to evade such a catastrophic event is seeming less and less likely; there is no space ship equipped to get man to mars, let alone to a new life sustaining planet in another Solar system.

Not a chance. Between technology and power-hungry, money-grubbing ego-maniacs, we'll have incinerated ourselves long before then. Besides, I think the end is a lot closer than anyone cares to admit. If I don't see it in my lifetime, my children are sure to see it in there's. Oops sorry *theirs*
