The Phillies are 8810-10000, for a % of 0.468. People are making a big deal out them having 10,000 losses, but here's the facts. Only baseball teams will reach this mark, because of the fact that they play 162 games per year. Also, the fact that they have this many losses is a testament to them that they have been around this long. They were one of the original franchises. The Phillies in the current age aren't that bad of a team. They have their young ace Cole Hamels, and the best 2B in baseball in Chase Utley, and last years MVP Ryan Howard.
