Wouldn't on your lap be more comfortable and make your ears easier to nibble on?

No I'm not. I'm sitting at the very edge of my seat with my legs straight out and my butt hurts because only 1/4 of it is on the seat. I'm too lazy to fix the way I'm sitting lol. I'm drinking some coffee...really really strong coffee.
