No, I don't agree that Bush is no more a conservative than Kennedy. There are a lot of issues that contradict that idea... including their views on the war, small business, the economy, education, and abortion.

That said, I already am registered as an idependent. Always have been. Likely always will be. Will I vote for something other than a Dem or Rep? Depends on who runs. It would be foolish to vote for someone JUST because they don't belong to a party. The parties suck... but we CAN do worse. Give me a decent option, and we'll see what happens.

Agreed, Bush is not a conservative. Republican is all we can vote for though. Liberals/Democrats would not represent us any better than a republican candidate. Basically a liberal republican is better than a liberal democrat to me.

No, while you can say that GW is a liberal Republican, I cannot agree that he is as liberal as Teddy is.

Yeah, I agree. both of those nut jobs wanted to legalize millions of criminals.
