If you're 22 years old, why not just be an adult and say that it's your birth control pill?
You say you don't want "teenage advice", yet you are going about things like a teenager would.

There are NO headache pills the size of a birth control pill.
Sorry, but time to own up and talk to your mom about it. You should have been open and honest to her about your wanting to get on birth control pills from the start.
Time to act like a 22 year old. Stop lying to your mom. Tell her they are birth control pills. If she doesn't like it then too bad.
You are an ADULT! Start acting like one!

I'm 22 too and I know I couldnt talk to my mom about sex or anything like that. I tried a couple of times, but she basically shut me down and said no to birth control. When I went away to college my dad finally convinced her to let my sleep over at my B/F's house and let him sleep at my house...he basically said...if shes gonna do anything, Im sure she's doing it at school! So I understand why you would want to lie. But at 22, my mom knows I have sex, we just dont talk about it. Your best bet, to salvage any kind of relationship with your mom is just to tell her the truth. Make her aware that AT LEAST you have taken the percautions to be safe! Good Luck

Go with the truth whole truth or if you want to soften the blow, tell her you are on birth control due to heavy menstrual cramping or flow.

you're 22 and lying to your mother. grow up and tell her it's birth control.
or, maybe you're not 22, and you're trying to cover for it. either way, the simplest solution is to own up to it.
