Sure. There is more to a relationship than political points of view.
My aunt & uncle are on opposite sides of the political spectrum and have been happily married for 36 years, with 3 beautiful, intelligent, and free thinking daughters.

I personally wouldn't want to, but lots of others do without too many problems. My best friend is a con and she married a lib, and they're pretty happy. She says they just don't discuss politics.

No. Why would you want that kinda friction between you, unless you both really don't care about it. But if you are hardcore, how could you? That is like Moore and Coulter shacking up. Scary.
