Sure. There is more to a relationship than political points of view.
My aunt & uncle are on opposite sides of the political spectrum and have been happily married for 36 years, with 3 beautiful, intelligent, and free thinking daughters.

I personally wouldn't want to, but lots of others do without too many problems. My best friend is a con and she married a lib, and they're pretty happy. She says they just don't discuss politics.
