Meteor
Plot-When a meteor 8 miles long and 8 miles deep the world is up in arms. At first there is a chance as we send out a rocket to destroy the giant astroid but when the missile misses the world goes into panic. With no escape routes given everyone is running and it is everyman for himself. Then the announcement finally comes 3 days before the meteor is set to hit that it is going to land in Nevada this sends vegas into an up roar. After most of the population is wiped out by killing and the impact of the meteor watch the rest try and survive the storms and extreme weather and the fact that everyone is fighting each other to survive

Dull. Your synopsis is all about the meteor and its effects; people are only dealt with en masse. You need characters and a plot (where people make choices and perform actions) in order to make a compelling film.

I'd recommend outlining this movie idea. I'm having trouble understanding your plot, largely because of the lack of punctuation! But if I understand your idea, it's a good start, but definitely needs some work. For instance, when both people die, how is the girl supposed to receive forgiveness? This could be the start of the story. But instead of her dying, how about this... She's told that she is being given a second chance. Instead of dying, she was in a near death experience, has to go through a lot of struggles in her recovery, but realizes that she was given a chance to be forgiven. If your lesson is on forgiveness, why not show how she can give forgiveness. For instance, she has bitterness over her boyfriends' death (possibly he was upset when she overdosed and crashed the car on the way to the hospital). But through various situations, she learns how to forgive herself and to receive forgiveness.

I actually have actually altered my opinion, cuz over the days I've seen a lot of movies just like it. It doesn't sound too original. Work on it more, try to make it more unique, better than the rest. right now it sounds like sudden impact.
