Look at the universe and the world; Now man didn't create the stars and the heavens above; nor did he create you, I and the animals. Man only created man made creations such as the telescope, cars, houses, and so on. When you wake up in the mourning do you honestly think that your alarm clock woke you up or a cup of coffee? No, it was God. How do you think you make it through the day? God is the one who protects you each and everyday while driving and evening sleeping. He takes some and some are reborned each and everyday. If you own a bible, pick it up and read it sometime and it will tell you exactly what I'm telling you to be real. It does not matter how fat you are or where you live; for God loves you just as you are. All you have to do is pray and believe in him. God would bless you with a lot more and more; if he thinks you needed. Give your life over to the Lord and accept him as your Savior today and you will be reunited with him with he returns; in heaven.

During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how to
classify human beings. One researcher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies on
monkeys, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed "tool
using animal". After observing some animals making wooden
tools and sharpening them with knife like stones, it was
dropped. Another researcher proposed "weapon using animal".
A decade ago, a rare film was shot by an amateur in an
African forest. One short monkey was hit very badly by a big
monkey. The short monkey prepared a wooden knife using
stones and hid it on the top of a tree. After some days,
when the big monkey came to attack the short monkey, it ran
up to the tree for the weapon it has hid and killed the big
monkey. The one thing that the anthropologists found with
any group of human beings, even if they did not have
contacts with the out side world for thousands of years, is
that they have spirituality with some form of religion. So,
man is a "spiritual animal" if you want to call him that
way.

The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so
named because he has "Manas" a mind higher than
that of the animals which realizes the divinity in
creation. It was present since the creation of
human beings. Religion is the characteristic
feature of most of the human beings. It was not
attained through reasoning using mind. Illiterate
tribes located in inaccessible forests also have
religion. It is as eternal and and as unchanging
as the Almighty. Disbelief by a few will not
affect it.

Religion is not a blind following. It is a sub-consciously driven
group ritual. It calms the 'collective unconscious' mind. The
religious culture brings unity and belongedness among the followers.

I think the only scientific thing we can honestly prove about God or any gods for that matter, is that people have faith. They believe things, they feel them...we know basically what the brain does and the heart for that matter. So we without a doubt know people think and feel.
I don't really follow any major religions, and all of them have changed over the years, even if just slightly. But people always had faith at least, even if sometimes in the end it's just faith in themselves.

i cant give you no facts but consider this scenario in 2107 the world has made a incredible break trough in technology and in order to populate the universe a space traveler is sent with a couple a male and a female to another planet once they are there the space traveler leaves them a book of do's and dont's then the space traveler leaves back to earth so the couple could get down to populating in the next 1000 years or so the people of that planet would of though that the original couple were adam and eve and that the space traveler was god

There are no facts. Because with facts, there would be no need for faith. God did this on purpose, for only the true believers will continue in the Lord's footsteps, we will not need proof or evidence. Our Faith will be enough. It is in a sense, a test.

i dont believe in god. i believe jesus christ was real and crucified on the cross but i dont think he was ressurrected. faith is believing without proof and that is what religion is about. there is no sure fire way to say if god is real or isnt, there may be gods, but if there are there isnt just one ruling the universe and watching all our backs on the time. we have ourselves and have to do what can now to be happy.

there was a guy (his name escapes me) that said "that the probability of there not being a god would be the same probability of a tornado going through a junk yard that had scattered 747 parts in it and putting the plane back together again"

Any sufficiently technologically advanced non-terrestrial species would meet the definition of god. Until such time as all planets have been explored, saying there is no such species is a larger stretch than saying there is such a species.
