I thought it'd be fun to see everyone's top 5 stephen king novels and then for everyone to say why their favorite is their favorite. So far i've only read carrie and cell, and am in the process of reading 'salem's lot.

1. Desperation (best if read before the Regulators)
2. The Regulators (written as Richard Bachman)
3. Misery (sooo much better than the movie)
4. The Green Mile (made me bawl)
5. It (scared the crap outta me)
I've read all of his works so far except the Dark Tower Series, and it is hard to pick favorites. He is such a versatile writer; he can do so much more than the horror genre he is famous for.

sorry, those 4 are the only ones I've enjoyed, Bag of Bones was my favorite because it's just a really good ghost story

1. Bag of Bones-one of my fav. books of all time. It's the perfect ghost story.
2.The girl who loved Tom Gordon
3.Hearts in Atlantis
4.The Green Mile-drove me crazy waiting for all of the mini books to come out!

I've never read any Stephen king novels, but seen movies when I was younger. Children of the corn 1 & 2 oh yea and Tommy knockrers. Can't remember what else laugh out loud.

I am not going to list the Dark Tower Series but, I loved it!
1. The Stand.....Excellent story, good vs evil..Good wins!
2. Insomnia....Love it, love it love it!!
3.The Dead Zone...Great story again..good wins..
4.Desperation...Horrible yet fantastic at the same time!
5.Dreamcatcher..I couldn't sleep for weeks!!
It is way to hard to list 5..If you asked which one I didn't like, I could answer that easy..Gerald's Game..I just did not like it at all.
Other than that, I love them!!
