Tolerance or intolerance can come from anywhere, but I'll bet many conservatives today wouyld call me the N-word if this were fifty years ago and I was black.

Also, liberal doesnt equal pro-abortion, it equal anti-prohibition, hence the intellectual dishonesty from the dying NeoCon front.

Does tolerant mean being a doormat? No.

There's one problem with your argument, neither one of us was alive 50 years ago (I'm guessing)... the environment we grow up in, including the time, makes us who we are; so if we were born fifty years ago you and I would be different people...and the same can be said of all conservatives and liberals (except maybe for the ones that were alive 50 years ago)...

Just like about anything else in this world, too much tolerance is a bad thing... tolerating someone who is different is okay, but tolerating some one who wants to do you harm is foolish...

Do you seriously think that your presumption that conservatives would use the "n word" is a valid counter to an empirical observation of the racism inherent in liberal activities such as those perpetrated by Sharpton and Jackson?

Does your presumption of hidden conservative racism blind you to the blatant racism in comments by liberal leaders such as "conservatives wouldn't be in the same room with minorities unless the minorities were on the catering staff" and "Barack Obama is the first clean, well-spoken black man"? Meanwhile, a conservative is crucified for speaking in a positive manner about the general historical achievements of a republican, who has a history from four decades ago of being a segregationist, a longer time ago than a well-known black man called NYC "Hymietown".

No one is suggesting tolerance should mean being a doormat, but the liberal practice is that "tolerance" is reserved for members of the Democrat Party.

All they are saying is that "liberal tolerance" is a hypocritical double standard, which it is.

No.

Liberals preach tollerance constantly, but some of the most strident ones, when able to hide behind the anonymity of the internet, are anything but tollerant.

For 'whining' about that to be fraudulent, one of those two things would have to be false...

No one is whining about it, I only see people laughing at the Neo-Lib lies of tolerance. and I see a lot of laughing.

The only name calling came from you on your inane question.
Unless you were using Neocon as a compliment. You ask someone not to generalize and name call, while doing that yourself?
Facinating.....
