It is a good idea for you to do your own background check through one of the State Bureaus of Investigation. Cost in nominal, in Oklahoma it is $15.00; that way you will know exactly what employers can see. Most employers are looking to see if you have ever been convicted of a felony (many people are charged but not convicted due to deferred/adjudicated sentences, etc). I doubt your $200.00 check would have qualified for a felony (In Oklahoma you must have a check/checks that total $500.00). If you never went to court for it you may want to see if there is an outstanding warrant out of AZ. If you either paid the company or went to Court and payed it along with the fines, then you should be ok. But, seriously check your own background.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNS0W
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

There are some considerations:
1. Did you realize about that just recently?, if so, you should go to the authorities and confess your mistake, pay whatever you must and ready.
2. If you know about your mistake since you committed it , and you have done nothing until now, it imply a moral fault (felony), anyway, you must do the same as explained before.
3. If you don't have any intention to solve that mistake, you are complicating your life, you are exposed to be caught at any moment, any place and beside to pay the debt, plus interest and a fine, you could go into jail for a time.
My best recommendation is Nº 1, go without delays and solve that situation which is threatening your tranquility and safety in a serious manner.

It is a criminal offense. However, if the company did not prosecute, it probably won't show up on your background check.

yes its a criminal offense if were actually charged with it.But most places wont hold that against you. they are looking for thing like robbery or forgery and such...did you tell them that this was on your record if it is? if you said you had no criminal record and you new this was on there then its a whole other ball game and most likely you will be terminated

They wont find out anything that you haven't been convicted of unless there is a warrant out for your arrest. This of course might be the case, but I highly doubt it. If they have your name and you haven't heard anything by now I'd say your in the clear.
