It's not just sex education. Look at the way Republicans always vote against school budgets and "No Child Left Literate."
Education, like Justice, and high priced call girls are things they feel should be exclusive to the Upper Class.
I mean, what good are Rights if poor people have them too.
But, Sex Education is a special bugbear for the Right. If they can get everyone upset about people having sex, there's less outrage to go around for the finer things in Life, like Lying, Cheating and Stealing.
Why should they care if the lower classes have their lives destroyed by STD's and unwanted pregancies? THEY can afford to have such things taken care of discreetly.
Besides, cutting into teen pregnancies is going to unfairly limit the dating pool for Priests 8 or 10 years down the road.

It's pretty doubtful that any politician, on either side of the aisle, is going to get AIDS from the hookers they can afford to patronize. I suppose the 75 cent variety in Calcutta is a different story. The people in India and Africa who are spreading the epidemic there probably don't make 75 cents an hour. In regards to education, the education that leads to a comprehensive understanding of what is going on the the world, in several different categories, certainly doesn't come from the marxist variety of "education" which propells liberal thought. That is pseudo-education, because it does not equip the student to deal with life in a meaningful way. A fantasy world has little to do with reality, certainly not in the realm of politics and international relations. In the most extreme example that is why Madeline Albright was such a mediocre Sec State and Dr. Rice is such an effective one.

Denial is a crucial factor. The ego is rapid and diffused. If there is a thank you to stay away from accountability for our judgements then we are able to enable that way force us into an madness. Watch how the justifications look from the in charge, and the distractions, and the straw men. Ask this question in politics besides.

Get a life, Why do I have to be concerned about everyone in the world. I care very much for people however I am not God and cannot save the world. The Indian Government must do what they need to do to control the issue much as we have.
The US cannot continue to meddle in everyone elses nusiness and volunteering my hard earned dollars so that others may live or prosper to our detriment. That is the cold hard reality in my view. I will help my neighbor and my country.........

Well there is a sharp contrast between the US and India. We in the US are better educated overall and are considerable more progressive. Since I was a kid we have been inundate with the consequences of unprotected sex.
***At what point in our country are we going to allow parents to become responsible for their children? Why is the state in charge? If you don't want your kids to die of this terrible virus then teach them. Point is it should be up to you.
But I guess this Idea doesn't work if you think we are as backwards as India. Do you know they still have societies of cannibals in India?

Teaching sex education is very important step in responsibility. Cons, as you call us, aren't opposed to educating our children.
We are, however, opposed to teaching our kids that they should constantly have sex whenever they're "ready" and that it's safe. Or teaching them about 'alternate' lifestyles....
All moral beliefs aside, the only "safe sex" is abstinence. Let's teach our children how to be accountable for their actions and get them the to strive for higher moral standards.
As opposed to the free-love 60's bull****....
Yes, some cons have failed to reach this moral goal, but that doesn't mean we should eliminate all moral goals, like the liberal hippies, who strive for nothing more than 'what feels good'....

Its evolution nature to make people different, in the base that it gives us more chance to survived. So let them stick to their ignorance, as we will prevails while they will get decimated. Thats their problems, not mine anymore!!

Do you have any studies or statistics that actually support your views?
Or are your views simply based on what you wish to be true mixed with an irrational hatred of conservatives?
I tend to think the latter is true.

Could be. Its mainly about money. People learn something about modern applications of technology, reactive ideas from the past are jettisoned.
Not 'all' conservative philosophy, but the NeoCons seem to have gone into their shell with "I know you are but what am I?"
As my questions proove they simply cannot answer without "Yeah but liberals...."
I have not yet seen the conservative answers to this post but I wish I could bet $1000 right now.
