Tom Seaver pitched most of his career in a pitcher's park. Ferguson Jenkins pitched most of his career in Wrigley Field. He even lost a Cy Young award to Seaver one year with a lower earned run average. For all those pathetic Cubs teams he won 20 or more year after year.
That being said, Seaver was obviously really good. Who was better do you think?

As much as I love my fellow Canadian Fergie Jenkins, I believe that Seaver was the better pitcher. Even with the adjustments for the parks in which they played, Seaver comes out on top - his ERA+ is 12 points higher than that of Jenkins.

Personally, I believe that Seaver is the best of that whole 1970s-1980s generation of pitchers that also includes Ryan, Carlton, etc. Awesome question, though - Fergie doesn't get nearly the respect he deserves. He was a fantastic pitcher on some terrible teams, and might have had more than a single Cy Young award had he been on better teams.

Seaver was more than really good , Seaver is one of the five best pitchers that ever lived. Growing up in NYC I too saw a lot of Seaver and Jenkins , and while Jenkins was great, Tom Seaver was in a whole 'nother class.

Saw them both pitch many times and it is not even close, Seaver was by far the better pitcher. The numbers they put up don't even tell the true story as to how much better Seaver was.

Since they were fairly equal, I'll give it to the guy who won a world series and who DIDN'T get addicted to coke. Seaver all the way.
