I did. Yippee!!! I can't wait until I get to retire and all of my "benefits" from the "trust fund" will be paid to me!! Yippee!!

I called to opt out of the program, they said I would be arrested. Why? I got out of this thing where I gave 10 grand and a guy said I would get back 20 grand if I found five more people to give 10 grand. That's how Social Security works, right?

Depends on your age, but right now they are spending the money and putting IOU's for furture retirees, if we did that we would be arrested for fraud. I have not received my letter yet, I guess the letter and the check got lost in the mail

man dont get me started on that one. I would like the government to save all the postage from this retarded mailing program and send me that when I retire (its all I hope for). The rest of the cash will not absolutely will not be there. Anyone who uses SSI in their calcuation about when they can retire is seriously fooling themselves. Man what a total rip off. I contributed to this thing since 14 yo and wont get a dime there will be some seriously angry people when this plan caves in.

Why don't all you radicals that do not believe in helping the elderly go buy your own country and live like you want? I hope everyone of you end up disabled, spend all your money on medical bills and have to humiliate yourselves by taking money from the programs you hate so much.

I don't know, but according to my annual note from them, I should really go and update with them, so that the last 30 years don't force me into a cardboard box, if my husband dies, or something.
