I wouldn't want them to be tortured but I couldn't bring myself to shoot them, WOW hard question.I guess I would hope there would be another way out of it and pray for the best. But I would shoot the bad guy in a heart beat!!!!

I think 1 bullet and a good pistol whipping would put an end to the torture all together.
If there was something that was slowly painfully killing them that couldn't be stopped by any other means then yea.

Wow! That's hard!! I just PROPOSED! to my fiancé 5 days ago!!! Now I see a question like this!!!! That's tough!!!!!! But, I'd probably say yes. I wouldn't want her to feel any pain, so I guess I'd have to shoot her in the head, but, I hate to say, but I would probably commit suicide afterwards.

I think i would try the old "who wants to take the bullet so the other can do the cutting" trick first. Maybe we could both get away.

I'd shoot whoever was going to put them through the pain. Then I'd pistol whip the other people, if any.
